Health Guidance (Siddha Medicine Awareness)

To share, care “Jesus Love and Healing” the management had arranged a wonderful health guidance program on 07.01.2015, in order to lead a healthy life in this artificial world. For this program, the college had invited an eminent personality Mr. Brahma Sri Ganesh, Natural health advisor from Coimbatore. He gave a remarkable speech on health conditions of human beings for six hours continuously, explaining the questions raised by the students. He suggested Siddha Medicines and vegetarian food to lead a healthy life. The interested needy persons had a personal consultation with him.

Government Health Awareness Program

A group of health supervisors from the Tamil Nadu government arrived to the college to inculcate the awareness program to the students on 31.01.2015. Mr. Gunasekaran, the coordinator of the group, Mr. Saravanan, the supervisor and Mrs. Uma Maheshwari, the supervisor came to the college along with a team to guide the students to lead healthy life. They were insisting about the prevention of getting and spreading the diseases and they gave many suggestions to avoid such diseases. The program came to an end at 11.30 am and the faculty members and the students were paying their gratitude to the principal for having arranged and organized such a useful program.

Industrial Visits

Apart from the academic activities, the students are also engaged in the industrial visit to equip themselves in their own respective disciplines. The students from the department of Chemistry visited Shasun Pharmaceutical and Shasun Chemical companies at Pondicherry on 02.02.2015, wherein they produce Ibrufen. The students from the department of BCA and Computer science visited the BSNL head office at Chennai on 03.02.2015 wherein they had a firsthand experience about modern communication system. The very day students from department of Physics visited Anna Science Centre, Planetarium and halls of Science at Trichy wherein they had a fresh experience on their subject, related equipments and related fields. All the students of different departments participated in these industrial visits and gained a lot of experience for their academic excellence.

Orientation Program for the Faculty Members and Students

It was an essential day when faculty members came to the college for one day orientation program on 23.02.2015. And it was conducted by Rev. Fr. Adaikala Samy, a priest from Kumbakonam diocese. It was extremely useful to the faculty members to maintain their rhythm and to understand the reality in life. In the same way, the students also had orientation programs which were conducted very often in the college as well as at out stations.

Celebrations and Functions

Immaculate institutions bloom with joy by conducting and celebrating all the festivals as per the Indian culture and tradition. The following are the celebrations and functions usually held in the college campus and in many villages of Villupuram and Thiruvannamalai districts.These celebrations and functions not only help to nurture the talents of students but also the team spirit. Further it enables the students to refresh and sustain the traditional values.
